Get Ready for the New Company Page Interface on LinkedIn

Start preparing updates for your business’s LinkedIn company page. An entirely new interface is in a beta stage.

If you manage your company’s LinkedIn page, you might already see the access to the “new admin experience” when you go to the page. Click on that to see what you’ll need to do to take full advantage of the new look.

You’ll need to create a new banner image. LinkedIn recommends dimensions of 1536 wide by 768 high. Part of the banner will be hidden behind other elements of the new interface, so take a look at how LinkedIn and Google present their banners on their respective beta pages.

Those two beta pages will also give you a chance to see how you can prepare content for your new company page. You’ll see three main elements: Overview, Jobs and Life.

Overview includes “About Us” information as well as company updates.

Click on Jobs and you’ll see recently posted job openings.

The Life section is intended to project the culture of the company, with a mission statement, company photos, posts by employees, and employee demographics, such as languages spoken, causes, and organizations that employees support.

The Life section also offers the opportunity to post a video about the company.

There’s no word from LinkedIn on when the new interface will become standard. When you access the “new admin experience,” you’ll see this message: “This is an early preview of the new Updates publishing experience and full functionality will be available soon.” Don’t wait for whenever “soon” is; check out the LinkedIn and Google beta pages, and get your new content in order.
